I’m Renee, a 23-year old Australian. I’m interested in working behind and in front of the camera, so being a TJ is a dream come true. Creativity requires preparation, and my travel experiences always contribute to my creative spirit. “Adventure” is my middle name … well, actually it’s Michelle. But it might as well be. I like to be active and involved in the outdoors. I’m a big fan of running outside, swimming in the ocean and going fast in any means of transportation.

I discovered my interest for art and film in high school and developed these passions while studying fine art and literature at SUNY Albany in upstate New York. I was fortunate to study art in Cortona, Italy, in my junior year of college. Since then I’ve jumped on every opportunity to experience the world firsthand. Whether it was a cheap plane ticket or an international community service project, I’ve seen a little bit of the world and cannot wait to see what else is out there.

I‘m addicted to bright colorful things, films, music, traveling, strawberries and laughing. I make sure to wear my brightest clothes on gray winter days. My friends will tell you that bad jokes are a regular occurrence with me. In fact, they often refer to them as “Reneeisms.” Better than laughing is making others laugh … so be ready! I’m a big family person — I love my family dearly. They have been so supportive of everything I do, which makes doing what I love real easy.

When I graduated from college, I worked as a photo lab tech, gallery assistant and journalist. I now work as an Internet manager and also volunteer as an adult literacy tutor in Brooklyn, N.Y., where I currently live.
